When i first started up with makeup and when i finally had my eyebrows threaded, all i used to perfect them was a tinted brow gel - specifically Benefit's Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep. So i thought that I would go through 5 different products that you can use for your eyebrows and how the outcome looks like. I also rated each method out of 5 depending on how natural it is, and how easy the application is.

Eye Shadow 5/5
I used: Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Eye Shadow Palette - Shade: 'Primal'
My favourite way to fill in my eyebrows is using a powder, or an eye shadow. I find it the  easiest when using an angled brow brush / eyeliner brush. It may seem bizarre using eye shadow on your eyebrows but it's essentially the same thing as using a brow powder. I like using this specific palette because the colour is perfect - it isn't too taupe or brown. I find that some brow powders are too orange or purple toned. Urban Decay eye shadows generally blend really smoothly on the eye so when you apply it to your brows, you can avoid harsh 'Instagram' brows because it will blend easily and look as natural as possible.

Brow Kit with Pigmented Wax and Powder 3/5
I used: Sleek Brow Kit in 'Dark'
Brow kits are great if you're on a budget and need an all in one product. Usually brow kits have tweezers and two tiny brushes to define your brows. The wax ensures precise shaping but you have to be very light handed with it because you can go too harsh very easily. As for the application process, it takes quite fast and can create really defined brows. In this specific product, i found that the kit in shade 'Light' has an almost ginger undertone wax which doesn't look natural at all - unless you obviously have naturally ginger hair. The wax may also look too shiny on your eyebrows so you need to set it with a powder however the powder in this kit is very lightly pigmented and i find that it doesn't spread evenly on the brows like the eye shadow would.

Felt Tip 2/5
I used: Soap & Glory Brow Archery
I'm not sure how many companies make felt tip eye brow products but this is the way I used to fill in my brows until i discovered the eye shadow method. This product has two ends, one with a thin felt tip and the other with a pencil. This takes really fast to apply but this product ran out really fast and this may have a purple undertone in certain lighting which is annoying. I wouldn't recommend using the Soap & Glory Brow Archery because the pencil side of it is really difficult to apply and I feel like you really have to press hard on your brows to get some product on them.

Tinted Brow Gel 4/5
I used: Benefit Gimme Brow
If you i just starting out with filling in your eyebrows, I highly recommend using a tinted brow gel because it gives you a little bit of colour and you can shape them to place. This is the most natural way to perfect your brows since you can't barely see it. This sort of brow gel can also be used over existing brow products to set them in place. This product is a brow volumizing fiber gel which makes your brows look more fuller. Also going to mention that this takes seconds to apply so it is perfect if you're in a rush.

Brow Pencils 3/5
I used: Sephora Long Lasting Brow Pencil
This choice of product can be really bad or really good depending on the quality of it. Usually cheaper ones are quite hard to use because you need to apply pressure to them when using but good quality ones are creamy and apply smoothly without having to apply a lot of pressure. Yet again you need to be really careful when applying this because when you press too hard, you can go too harsh. I quite like to use this product for days where I have less time to do my eyebrows because you don't need a brush to apply and it applies quickly. Just to note: this pencil isn't the most softest one but also not hardest.
